Ain't scared of no republican.

There's been a lot of talk about what the republicans may or may not say about this candidate or the other.  Here is my take on the whole thing.

First, this is not a candidate diary.  I have my candidate.  I hope that you have yours.  Those of you who are still undecided might want to consider what I have to say.

I ain't scared of no republican candidate.  Period.  Not scared of what they might say or any lines of attack from any one of them.

Let's take a look.  I want to start with Tancredo.  War hawk who got a deferment from Nam because of mental illness. Yeah, right.

Fred Thompson whose knowledge about the affairs of the world apparently stopped while there was still a Soviet Union. Katie bar the door.

Rudy Guiliani a man who tried to declare himself king in the aftermath of 911, he of a noun a verb and 911.

Mitt Romney.  I leave this blank because that is what he is.  If flip-flopping is a republican sin, he is the devil.

Ron Paul is a little man who scares even republicans.

Mike Huckabee is only ahead in the polls right now because nobody took him seriously enough to check into his candidacy.  I'm sure American wants a president that was the last one to know about the NIE report.  Been there done that.

Finally John McCain.  A man who might have been a serious contender if he had not hoisted his sails on the sinking ship of Iraq and the Bush b-administrations.

To say that we have to base our votes on electability against these candidates is nothing short of laughable.

There is not one Democrat who could not wipe the floor with any and all of these nutjobs.

Vote your conscience.  Stop with the hyperbole.  Cease and desist with the republican fear mongering theme.

The American public has caught on.  True it took them a while.  But Bush is such a horrible president, that these fellow wingnuts have to distance themselves from him.  I haven't heard Reagan's name invoked so much since his funeral.

That we must be afraid of these serial knucleheads defies reason and logic.  The only thing that the republicans have been effective at doing is scaring the hell out of the people of this country.  Anyone who buys into that fear in choosing their candidate has been duped again.

I ain't scared of not one republican.  My holiday wish for you is that you stand up with me and tell the fear machine to kiss our collective asses. We ain't scared.
